Purpose
Create unbalanced live loads by specifying the factors to use and the locations to perform the unbalanced condition; multiple locations can be used
Steps
To create unbalanced live loads:
1. Click Component to open the Component Loading window. Then click Unbalanced Live to open the Unbalanced Live Load window.
2. Complete the Unbalanced Live Load options.
Live Load Factor - Full - select or enter the full live load factor
Live Load Factor - Reduced - select or enter the reduced live load factor
Enter the locations separating Full and Reduced live loads. As indicated, two load cases are generated for each entry you make.
3. Click OK to save your changes.
4. Click OK to close the Component Loading window and apply your changes.
User unbalanced live loads are clearly identified.
